This ulundu kozhukattai is made with the same ingredients as the traditional ulundu kozhukattai/ khara kozhukattai - Rice flour, urad dal as main ingredients. But this is perfect for beginners who doesn't want to spend time in making the traditional stuffing method. Or who doesn't know to make it. Or for a lazy day, yet you want to make and eat the kozhukattai. Also this is apt to use up the extra ulundu pooranam after vinayakar chaturthi. My mother used to make this kozhukattai on the day of her monthly fasting on "Sankatahara Chaturthi". Urad dal is very good for health, especially for ladies.
