KOTHAMALLI(DHANIYA) PODI
Ingredients:
| Dhaniya(vara kothamalli) | 3/4 cup |
| Red chili | 2 nos. |
| Pepper | 2 tsp |
| Jeera | 1 tsp |
| Garlic flakes | 2-3 |
| Salt | To taste |
Method:
- Dry roast Dhaniya till nice aroma rises,it should not be burnt,but roasted evenly till it starts browning.
- Roast red chili,pepper and jeera separately and cool down everything.
- Grind all the roasted items along with salt and add the garlic run the mixer once or twice.
- Store in an air tight container,can use for a month even when kept in the shelf temperature.

We are given this after delivary to eat with rice and it is believed that it enhances milk production!! Though not logical enough I still love this podi very much :)

A five star podi & a 5 star photo. I have never hd podi with sesame oil, always use ghee in hot rice. The oil must impart a different flavor. need to try it.
