CHIKU MILKSHAKE | SAPOTA MILKSHAKE
I love this fruit very much, but trying this milkshake for the very fist time, loved it! My kid too loved it… The chikku we get here in local markets is so very different from our Indian Chikku.What we get in local market is Vietnam chikku,its firm,smooth and large rather than our Indian fruit,which is soft and a kind of grainy in texture. After mom’s endless advice to consume this fruit(one among a set of ‘to eat healthy things’ advices...hehe) I bought both the chikkus we get here. Anyway I used the Air flown Indian chikku for this,that I bought from Mustafa…

| Chilled milk | 1 cup |
| Chikku/sapota fruit | 3 nos |
| Vanilla Ice cream | 1 scoop |
Method:
- Peel and remove the seeds from the fruit and chop it. Add milk,chopped fruit and ice cream together in a blender.
- Blend it well until smooth and enjoy it when it is still chill .

I make this without ice-cream for an everyday kind of Milkshake.I love having Chikoo milkshake rather than the fruit itself!

Love sapota as shake, its quite expensive to the get the fresh one here, feel like finishing that irrsistible glass..

I think I too love the Indian variety for the grainy texture.It adds crunch to the milkshake. Though it is truly healthy to consume fruits as such, it is always a welcome change to have milkshakes that too with icecream!
Have tried this milkshake without the ice cream, it tastes really good...the addition of ice cream will sure give it a richer and yummier taste...beautiful clicks
