Chana masala sandwich is the best way to use the leftover chana masala. It turns out really tasty and healthy too. If you make chana masala in the morning, you can easily make this for evening snack for your kids when they come hungry back from school. With cheese and chutneys, it will sure be a pleaser for kids and even the other family members at home. Few months back I posted this recipe in my facebook page thinking how I could make a post in blog as it is just an idea and not worth a post. But few readers insisted me to post in order to save the recipe. So since my blogging taken back seat, I thought I would share this now in my blog. I had this idea in my mind after I saw this sandwich in Kailash parbat menu, I tasted it once too. It was so filling and yummy. I am making this often now and am sure you all will love it. I know many of you may do it, this post just for beginners in cooking.

Green chutney - As needed
Chaat masala - As needed

Butter - 2 tbsp
Method
- Spread a tsp of green chutney in one side of the bread. Sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese and some generous sprinkle of chaat masala. I like grated mozzarella cheese coz, it never ooze out while grilling.
- Grill over greased griller plate in the sandwich maker. Can use other triangle sandwich plate or grill over tawa too.

Notes
- Make sure the chana masala is thick. So that the sandwich never turns soggy.
- You can use any melting type cheese - like cheddar or processed cheese.
Serve hot with tomato chilli sauce. Perfect evening tummy filler!
